Plane flight and Arrival

If one word could be used to describe my flight and arrival at Narita airport, it would be easy. After saying goodbye to my mom, I walked up the escalator and into the first class lounge (a first class ticket costs the same amount of miles as an economy ticket; I don't know why). After a few beers, I went to board the plane. Of course, my seat is very nice and the crew could not be more helpful.
I was served Lunch and a snack. Here is the lunch menu:
Appetizer:

-Braised Squid and bamboo shoots with Green Miso Sauce

-Sea-bream “sashimi” style

-Braised Taro

-Marinated shrimp and scallop

-Soba Noodle “Sushi Roll” Style

-Rolled Salmon with Egg Yolk Vinegar Sauce

-Cold Tofu

-Green Soybean Mousse and Chicken Teriyaki

Main Dish:

Poached Fillet of Chilean Sea-bass with Seaweed Starch Sauce

With Steamed Rice (of course), Japanese Pickles, and Miso soup

I don't know what half that stuff is, but sounds pretty good, neh?
Narita airport was a pleasure to be in (unlike LAX). The airport was quiet, clean, and there was none of that horrible noise polution from honking cars and obnoxious Californians. Everythign was very organized and efficient. I made it to the hotel with no problems.
I met up with two people from my program and we're going into town tomorrow morning to see a Shinto temple.
